Carrefour vs Lulu Prices Today: What We Could Actually Compare
Carrefour or Lulu: which one is cheaper for your weekly shop? We checked the same eight everyday items at both stores today, 26 October 2026, and picked the cheapest good match at each.
The honest answer today is that only one item, fresh milk, could be matched at both stores. Here is what we found, what it means for your basket and where the gaps are.
The quick verdict for today
On the one product we could compare directly, Carrefour came out cheaper. Its 3.8L full fat fresh milk is AED 14.99 today, against AED 18.25 for Lulu's 1 gallon full cream fresh milk.
For the rest of the list, we found matches at Carrefour only, so we cannot say which store wins on those items today. Please treat the basket totals below as a snapshot, not a like-for-like result.
Fresh milk: the one true head-to-head
Carrefour Full Fat Fresh Milk, 3.8L is AED 14.99 today, down from AED 19.99 (25% off). That works out at AED 3.94 per litre.
LuLu Full Cream Fresh Milk 1 Gallon is AED 18.25 today, down from AED 23.10 (21% off). A gallon is close in size to Carrefour's 3.8L bottle, so this is a fair comparison.
Both are on offer, but Carrefour is AED 3.26 cheaper today. If milk is a big part of your weekly spend, that gap adds up.
Carrefour's staple offers worth a look
Several pantry and fridge basics are discounted at Carrefour today. Sinnara Basmati Rice, 5kg is AED 29.99, down from AED 42.29 (29% off), or AED 6.00 per kg.
Nawar Sunflower Oil, 3L is AED 19.99, down from AED 25.79 (23% off), which is AED 6.66 per litre.
Saha Fresh Whole Chicken Cut 12Pcs 800G is AED 18.49, down from AED 23.79 (22% off).
We did not find matching items at Lulu today, so we cannot say these beat Lulu. They are, however, solid savings against Carrefour's own regular prices, with rice alone saving AED 12.30.
Smaller everyday items
Al Jazira Super Six Eggs, 6 PCS is AED 5.89 at Carrefour today, and Rabea Express Tea Bags 25 Tea Bags is AED 5.59. Neither is on offer.
These are small packs, so check whether a larger size suits your household better before you buy.
How to read the basket totals
Carrefour's total is AED 94.94 for 6 of the 8 items. Lulu's total is AED 18.25 for just 1 of the 8 items. The lower Lulu figure does not mean Lulu is cheaper; it simply covers far fewer products.
Sugar and laundry detergent were not found at either store today, so neither total includes them. Prices change daily, so it is worth checking again before your next big shop.

Quick ways to save
- Compare price per litre or per kg, not just the shelf price, especially when pack sizes differ.
- If you buy milk weekly, Carrefour's 3.8L offer at AED 14.99 is the better deal of the two today.
- Stock up on rice and oil while they are discounted, as long as you have storage space and will use them before they go off.
- Do not judge a store by a basket total that covers fewer items; count how many products are actually included.
- Check prices again on the day you shop, as offers can end or change overnight.
